Home day.....

Rainy and cool, perfect day to lay in bed and read followed by an afternoon of baking/cooking. The mugs in this photo are my Wrendale Design purchases. I originally bought 4 including the only rabbit which turned out to be a cranky looking hare. My good friend R bought me the cute bunny one named Rosie as a gift when she was visiting so i use the cute one and my sweetie uses the cranky one. A kind neighbour cleared out their garden and gave me the rest of the parsley, chives and rosemary. I made 4 apple crisps (for a work charitable fundraiser tomorrow), a pot roast and shepards pie. We are out most evenings this upcoming week so this gives us lots of frozen leftovers to work on during our timecrunched visits home.
