The Lady of the Lake

This lake is only about 5 minutes walk away from my office. 
I went up there at lunchtime today, expecting it to be bathed in sunshine and full of playful swimmers and people sun-bathing on the shores and pedaloes making circuits (not much chance of any of that - EVER!) but instead it was very spooky and misty.
I expected to see the Lady of the Lake rise from the depths at any time.
