Demoted Flowers

We've had these lisianthus for about 2 1/2 weeks now. They started off in the sitting room and have now been demoted to the kitchen. I don't know why we do that, as we spend more time in the kitchen so maybe the flowers should start off there. 
Anyway - for the lack of anything else today, the flowers have found a new lease of life.
C has virtually finished painting the exterior of our house - except the station canopy (we live in an old railway station). The scaffolding needs to be erected under the canopy so that he can paint under there as it's quite a big job - and he doesn't fancy doing it on his back in the style of Da Vinci. As it was a bit damp for outside painting today, he decided to start on a bedroom, so when I arrived home one room had been cleared and half decorated. I think he must run on Duracell batteries - he never stops.
