giraffe

the giraffe looks so magnificent in there natural environment. they are called a journey of giraffes as they are often following each other in a line formation. the mother gestation time is 14months and her young is called a calf. she will clean the placenta in within 10 minutes and the calf can run within 30 minutes. we were lucky to see some at dusk.
