UP THE HÖLLEBERG

We started early in the morning. It was misty but not cold. I could even call it sunny! So we did the last jobs in the garden. Had an early lunch too.
We have to leave earlier for our walk now. If we don't want to come home in the dark.
We drove to Deissel and walked up the Hölleberg. A steep walk for sure, and how much had we anticipated on a wide view over the Diemel valley.
It did not happen, the sun had hidden behind light clouds and the hills were all covered with soft mist.
We walked our well known paths. I saw a deer, and we saw a sports aircraft taking off. I felt tired during the walk, could not get the uplifted spirit of enjoying the surroundings.
We will travel soon to The Hague, where we will meet with Mischa, our lovely daughter, her birthday nearing.  We look forward to it so much. Still, leaving our home here is quite a change. From the quietness of our hill to the crowded town in the Randstad of The Netherlands.
