Looking north from Hart Crag

The forecast today was clear and sunny so we decided to walk the Fairfield Horseshoe which is a 10ish mile walk setting out from Ambleside.  The route is steep to begin with but eventually levels out and takes in a total of eight Wainwrights.  It was a fantastic day for it, we could see for miles and although the north wind was a little chilly to begin with it eased off after lunch and we really caught the sun.  
We bought fish and chips in Ambleside to take home and enjoy with a large beer to quench our thirst!  An amazing day!
One of the extras is of the valley floor which looked so beautiful in the full sun and the other is of my lovely husband.
