Groundbreaking

In March I blipped a dedication ceremony and open house at the Kulshan Community Land Trust's 100th completed house. KulshanCLT is a local nonprofit organization helping to make home ownership affordable for people who would not otherwise be able to buy a home.

This is the groundbreaking ceremony for four more homes to be built just across the street from the 100th home -- two by KulshanCLT, and another two by Habitat for Humanity in Whatcom County.

As far as I know, KulshanCLT is not affiliated with Kulshan Brewing, although there was a small keg of Kulshan's Pale Ale at the groundbreaking.
