Whiting Beach

I was in by the beach early this morning for a change and took this shot of Whiting Beach. I'm usually in there in the late afternoon and can't blip this beach as the sun is shining directly into the camera. The colour of the water was just beautiful and, as I don't think I will be able to blip this afternoon, I decided this would have to be it for today.
Whiting Beach is just inside the river mouth and protected from the surf, and is therefore a popular sheltered beach for children and families. This shot is looking directly up river to the west.
