Day 243 - Glenelg

Set off this morning heading for the botanical gardens except I walked in the wrong direction. But that was okay cause I stumbled across Adelaides japense gardens, which were shown out to be by the beautiful colours of the parrots in the park. The gardens were really pretty. Then! I headed in the right direction to botanical, which was abit hectic to get into due to all the road works but I did it! Has to be one of the best botantical gardens I have been to! There is even an indoor rainforest in the centre, and the rose garden there is amazing!! And I don't even like flowers haha. Walked back to the city to board the tram and headed out to a little suburb on the coast called Glenelg and what a little piece of paradise that is! Every useful shop you can think of all on one street 1000× better than chapel street everyone raves about and everything you can imagine to buy you could! They even sold dehydrated bull shit. Yep that's right! In a packet. Hilarious. Sitting on the beach, i made a new friend, a one legged seagull, my heart strings did pull! And also on my little round (accidentally falling in to cold rock and getting a baileys/peanut butter/honeycomb milkshake) there was a grandstand just set back from the sea, and there was a elderly couple dancing arm in arm. Little tear to the eye. I only went for a hour! 6 hours later... I caught the tram back ( one line track tram, nice and easy.) And had noodles in the tv room and got chatting to some guys, and funny enough one of them is flying to the same place as me tomorrow... da da daaaaaaaa

Now everyone I have spoken too, asked me.. Why are you going to Adelaide? And now I can say why not, it's a amazing little town, so easy to get around, has everything you could wish for including happy people and with Glenelg on your door step. It's perfect!
