Westonbirt

What a beautiful day to visit Westonbirt Arboretum.   We set off early with the plan of arriving as the gates opened but we hit horrendous traffic but it was still quiet when we got in at 9.30.

It was so nice being able to take pictures with so few people around.  I haven't seen the colours as spectacular as they are this year.  By the time we left at 2pm it was heaving with people.  I understand that they had to close it at the weekend as the car park was full.  

There were so many nice pictures to choose from.  Jane and I spent quite a time photographing this beautifully lit toadstool
