Chill

Last night was very chilly around here and we woke up to a pretty substantial frost.  It added a sparkle to the many autumn colours around and the challenge was to get some shots in before the sun came through to melt all the sparkle away.

The leaves on this plant have all little hairs on their leaves with each having its own column of ice crystals.

Camera club tonight so I'll ask about taking shots in such conditions.
