Edinburgh Cowboy

Into Edinburgh today for a lunch date with some friends.  The restaurant was just off the high street and I was surprised to see there was still some street entertainment going on.

Like many entertainers, there was much more banter than activity and it was quite amusing.  He was building up to a big finale and we had been primed to wait for the collection which would follow.  Before he got to the final trick, an Edinburgh worthy entered the space and interrupted the flow. It took some time to persuade him that the audience had less interest in his sermon on a sinful life and were more interested in completion of the act. 

The moment had gone and I had to go for lunch.  It was excellent.
