B&W

One picture a day sounds so easy but now I know better. Today was an example of how difficult that task can be . Heavy cloud this morning meant the sunrise was hidden and there was little colour in the sky. However the occasional sun ray broke through and I took the opportunity to capture this one. I often find that a B&W image is a very effective way of showing sun-rays at their best.
The rest of the day has been dominated by our very welcome visitor. When you are approx 1 yr old nice shiny new teeth are appearing and today was one of those days when our normal happy and engaging granddaughter was not at her best. We all know how miserable toothache can be so she has every reason to be feeling grumpy and I have every reason to be feeling exhausted.
