Fleetwood to Knott End ferry

This is a very important service for the people of Knott End. The ferry takes less than 10 minutes to cross the estuary, but if you want to drive round,  or if you are forced to catch the bus,  it is a 12 mile trip. 

I've never caught this ferry even though I've lived fairly close to it all my life. Got to get it done!  It's on my bucket list and there is no excuse. It isn't as though it's a mad bungee jump or a sky dive, is it? 

I will make a commitment to catch the ferry next week. :-)
