Up The Tower, Again
Took advantage of the half term holidays to have a play in the workshop today. Been a while since Tuttle Jnr had a proper session so we attacked a variety of machines including the laser cutter, 3D printer, centre lathe, soldering iron and the usual saw/tri square/bench hook/marking gauge etc. He came away with an LED torch, a silent wind chime, an unfinished Christmas tree* and an unfinished wooden box*. Mission accomplished, just. *Another day will see these items finished (attention to detail etc).
My boss D and his son J joined us late morning with their Puka pies and pigs in blankets flavoured Pringles (yes, really). They had a couple of little jobs to do and a mad hour in the workshop. After lunch we headed up The Tower to admire the views and the golden autumn colours surrounding the workhouse. Took this in one take which isn't bad for me: the mini tripod purchase is paying off as a cool selfie stick.
The day didn't stop there: new school shoes for Tuttle Jnr as the "new" Clarks were falling apart on him last week. Tea in M&S followed by a Whoopsie bargain hunt for our lunch n nibbles tomorrow.
Not enough hours in the day......
......bring on Friday.
