Selfie At Baddesley Clinton
We did our usual "visit a National Trust site on the way to Grandad Ernie's" today. Left early(ish), collected our Costa points (and Lattes) and arrived in the middle of nowhere surrounded by acres of golden colours of autumn. Plenty to see and learn. The volunteers did a great job explaining the history of the place with much enthusiasm (murders, unicorns, priest hideouts, diamonds, house extensions etc). There was mush to see around the grounds but we ran out of time to full explore this, but we did manage a selfie in true Tuttle style (?).
A zig zag route to my Dad's meant the dreaded M5 during rush hour. Took another hour almost, but we got there in the end. Finally met their new dog Milo. Once settled with the WiiU in the log cabin (priorities) we got stuck into the stew that my dad put together this morning. Mmmm. Took Milo out for a walk and finished the evening off with Quibbler and a few beers, as you do.
