Space Cadet

I own just about every piece of waterproof kit imaginable but did I think to take any of it golfing? Oh no, that would have been far too sensible. And just for good measure, I thought I'd leave the brolly in the car too.

Sodden doesn't even come close. By the time we'd got to the seventh, (pictured, where I've never seen rain like it) a lovely old chap obviously felt sorry for me and lent me his umbrella - thank you!

Break for hot chocolate and shortbread after the front nine renewed spirits and provided us with enough energy to tackle the back nine.

A marvellous day all round!
