Barn Stormer

Our Grandson Jamie has always seemed interested in owls so this morning we took him to the Scottish Owl Centre, which is located within Polkemmet Country Park in West Lothian.

There were certainly plenty of owls to see but, as they don't move around much, it was far too slow an adventure for the wee guy and he was more interested in going to the swing park.

We did stay for the 'flying display' which was very good but , as it's essentially an indoor area, I had to push the fim speed (if you know what I mean) up to 3200ASA.

This photo is of a Barn Owl and I also got some close-ups of an Eagle Owl which - as the name suggests - is a seriously big bird!!!
