Thank you to everyone for your very kind and supportive comments.

I'm still hoping that this is a very bad dream.

David's manager came round to start going through the paperwork. Nothing can happen until we have a death certificate and we can't have one of them until the post mortem has been done on Monday.

I'm keeping busy by phoning people and cancelling his magazines etc.

A good friend brought round some home made soup and the post man asked if I was Ok.

The kids are now cooking dinner.

I'm moving through life in a dream.
