Picking up the pieces

Murphy was due his hair cut today.  I really wanted to just phone and postpone the appointment but instead I went.  Murphy is really missing David.  When we arrived at the grooming parlour he tried to hide behind my daughter.

While he was made even more handsome than ever, my daughter and I wandered around the local National Trust gardens.

I'm continuing to keep busy so then it was off to the charity shop with some things that I had been collecting for quite a while.

The children and I have then played a board game.  I'm enjoying spending time with them.

Everyone is continuing to be very kind.  We are receiving cards, flowers and things to eat.  I can' be bothered to cook at the moment.

Its so hard getting used to him not being there and not doing things together.

I still don't believe it.

And I can't thank you enough for your kind words.
