Two Sides of the Story....

This morning I received a letter telling me to turn up for jury duty at the High Court. How exciting!

One of my best friends is a QC, and although he's the soul of discretion (you're all safe - I have no idea what your real names are anyway) he does occasionally let slip something that has amused him.

He was once defending a chap who was accused of trying to bash someone's head in.

The man who had allegedly been attacked, was shown a large wooden club, and immediately identified it as the weapon which had been used on his cranium.

'I suggest,' said my friend, waving the club around. 'that this is an absolute fallacy.'

'No it's no' said the man, clearly thinking my friend was an idiot, 'it's a bit o' wood!'.....

I can't wait!!
