Two views of.....

....Beer today!  We went down to look at an exhibition of art by some lovely Russian artists being shown at the Marine Gallery.  Very interesting and such talented people.  Tempted but resisted.  On the way we had a coffee in Axminster, many memories there as it was near where my Mum lived and we often went there to shop.  

Then we went to Roudsen to seek a bakery we'd been told about....in an old garage premises.  It was delightful and run similarly to Town Mill Bakery which used to be in Lyme Regis.  Certainly a connection there but I cannot remember what it was.  Basically you help yourself to anything that isn't hot, order at the counter anything that is which they cook for you and shout out when it's ready, remember what you've had and pay sort of 'on trust' at the end.  We had a vegetarian sausage roll thingy with salad and chutney.  Delicious.  

Then on to see farming friends in Shute which was great.  She had four sons, has I don't know how many grandchildren and now also has 17 great grandchildren....how's that for a dynasty!
