Another interesting and.....

.....fun day!  We were invited by our old neighbours to Brunch and then to help with their apple harvest.  This is R and J picking the russets.  They've had a good harvest and J is trying his hand at making some cider....this is Somerset after all.  Then we cut up what seemed like pounds of apples and they pressed  them all down in a borrowed press and got two half demi- johns of juice.  Time will tell!!
