Pink sky as the sun went down on a beautiful Saturday in Peebles. A relaxing day doing a spot of shopping in some of my favourite shops here, followed by homemade soup for lunch.

This afternoon we embraced the cold and had a walk around the Haystoun loop, enjoying the changing light and colours on the Autumn landscape as we went along. It is therapeutic to see the hills again.

This evening after dropping Alexander in West Linton for a sleep over, we had a hot chilli for dinner in preparation for our trip to the fireworks in Victoria Park. They were really beautiful. The perfect way to end a happy day in Peebles.
