Gunnera

I think these are Gunnera-gigantic foliage plants that reach almost 6 feet in summer.
They must be protecting them from frost by cutting the giant leaves and covering the plants in winter.
They are like something from outer space..

Busy day again today -looking afrer the two cherubs while mum and dad enjoy themselves in Edinburgh.

Their excitement at anticipating the fireworks was a joy to behold and C actually kissed my hand when I told him we were returning home for sausages.
