East Lomond

I love being able to see this hill from our living room.
We have lived in some splendid houses, with great views, and being able to see hills or water is such a joy for the soul.
Anyway we climbed it last week with the Dutch contingent, who were a bit miserable due to the dreich Scottish weather. The decision was made to turn back at the car park as the baby was getting chilly but my soon- to-be-daughter in law's sister was really keen to get to the top which she and I did. Luckily the rain eased up but the wind was so strong at the top that I thought we would have to cover the last twenty feet on our hands and knees!
Great sunset tonight and it marked a good achievement of tucking the summer chairs and tables under the deck.
We started the day off with a lovely game of superheroes in our bed-nothing like being big kids with the grandchildren is there?
