8.50am ......

..... the sun shinning through the tree.
The sun looked and felt quite warm for the time of day and year.
We had a short run out in the car and a short brisk walk it was really lovely but when we got home at 4.15pm it was getting decidedly chilly and the darkness drawing -in fast. I couldn't believe how warm it was when I went out at 7.30am today but really by midday at this time of year it does get cold. Having had a good summer it comes as a shock to the system !!!
