Mixed bag

Some bits of today have been very hard.

In contrast some bits have been really very lovely. Including this backdrop for our morning dog walk with an insanely well behaved dog who waited for us and looked back to check where we were and, er, came when we asked her to. More of this and I might finally begin to believe that all the effort of training her was actually worthwhile. Weather wise I think the picture speaks for itself. And so glad we made the walk this morning as this afternoon it has mainly poured.

A final visit from the lovely SooB and family. Well final until New Year but it has been such a treat having them in the 'hood for the last fortnight.

Some book and booze sorting in preparation for the great redecorating project. Far too many of both which I'm sure says a lot.

And also some lying around and reading and watching telly (including starting Pretty Little Liars with Anna) and being very Sunday.

Even given the hard bits I'd love a repeat.
