Celebrating

Well, didn’t those 41 years go quickly.  Forty one years last weekend when we celebrated tieing the knot those seemingly short years ago.
So short in fact that we forgot to open the bubbly to mark the occasion. We figured that Asti would be more to our taste than champagne, yet even then here we are a few days later before we got round to enjoying a glass or two.
Just as well all those years ago we didn’t forget to celebrate. Or was it that our minds were a little sharper?
Either way, we will make the most of this bottle. And at relatively modest price, perhaps another this coming weekend.

Maybe, it’s not politic to celebrate 41 years, plus one week.  On the other hand, why not?
