Another enclave of the British Raj

A very grand building in Simla where the British escaped the heat of Delhi and Kolkata. The Cecil Oberoi still captures the luxury enjoyed by many in the past. It is a heritage building at the top of the Mall, which was an area where shopping,, meeting with friends or going to the theatre took place. This still happens today.
