Gilded pipes

A long weekend away in York would not be complete without a visit to York Minster.   The stained glass is inspiring but the surprise for me was the beautifully painted and gilded pipes on the organ.

Lighting was difficult - a dark day and a very dark area of the building but I hope you can see the beauty.
