Chimneys and spires

After a dreadfully wet morning, the sun did deign to put in an appearance after lunch, so we walked a short section of the city walls before heading back to the bus stop for the ride home.

Suddenly we were greeted with this view of York Minster appearing above the rooftops - quite a sight.
