Friends Forever

In Assú, using internet at home of more old friends, Joaquim and Gracinha. We lived over 50 km from towns either side - this was the one we went to less, but one of the lads from church is doing Uni here, and he wanted to show us his place. We also wanted to see the priest here, who we were very good friends with - so good to see him, though a little heartbreaking, as he's had a stroke and feeling his 80 yrs - he's in the extras, and another of the bougainvillea over our old gate, surviving the draught so far.

The photo is of Guilherme with his dog, and Levi, Robério's son; I'll go back and post about him and Biu for Sunday now... These two, after a bit of initial shyness, really hit it off, and had a great time together.
