no spider is an island

The children appear to have inherited +1/2's love utter loathing of all spiders, no matter how small they may be; this wee house spider somehow managed to get onto a flannel during +1/3's morning facewash which then caused quite some excitement.

Exactly how the spider got there, I have no idea. Did it jump from a great height and land on the flannel? Was it hiding under the flannel when the water started and headed for higher & dry ground? Who knows.

I was quickly summoned to remove the spider but instead took its photo...
