The First Rose

One of my favourite roses is Margaret Merril. It has the most glorious fragrance. With rain predicted over the next few days I managed to rake and mow the lawns this morning. I wanted free time this afternoon to watch the US Presidential Elections. I'm feeling quite depressed at the outcome. I am a New Zealander.... and not living in the US so if I am feeling glum heaven only knows how Democrats and Hillary Clinton are feeling right now as Donald Trump is declared as President.
