Barcelona from Montjuic

You can take a funicular and a cable car up to the top of Montjuic Hill, which gives you a great view down to the city, the harbour and the industrial port. The large column for Christopher Columbus stands at the bottom of La Rambla - a wide promenade running through the old city - and Columbus overlooks the harbour and sea beyond.
