Day250-Dunmarra/Dalywaters/Bitterspring/Springvale
Started the morning feeding apples to the camels and donkeys. The sound of a camel eating an Apple is so satisfying haha strange? Little stop on Elliot where this amazing caravan park was home to lots of peacocks (can you see him? Haha) and then on to Dunmarra. The story goes a traveller was in the area but ran out of petrol, didn't have food or water and when some aboriginal trackers finally found him he was dead so they named the area after him. The owners have 3 snakes so we were all lucky to have a feel. I held a diamond python. Off to Daly waters for a beer by the pool, it little bit like barrow creek with the wall to floor deco. Lovely Aussie BBQ. Off to bitter springs, the water was so clear! Couple of guys there had 8 week old puppies so I chilled with the puppies for a little while before having a swim down the river. At the steps some guys had caught some baby turtles so I had a little play with the turtle before setting them free again. All about the nature today haha bitter springs is a amazing place, like something from the movies. Katherine is a nice sized town, and the camp we are on is awesome! Wallabys on our door step, and as one of the companies isn't doing tours now as wet season is coming we were allowed to stay in there tents! Proper little beds and a fan! VIP haha tea was so good too again and she even made a nutella cake on the BBQ. There's nothing this women carnt do!
