The longest portico

Another superlative day in Bologna. I walked along the world's longest portico - 2.3 miles long with 666 arches it climbs to the Santuario della Madonna di San Luca high above the City. Plenty of portico shots are available.

Earlier, we visited the Palazzo Communal with its curious staircase, designed to allow horse drawn carriages to reach the upper floors.
