Portmahomack Beach

Portmahomack Beach and village are situated in Easter Ross, part of the seaboard villages.
It is said that Portmahomck Beach is the only beach on the east coast that faces west. It was a beautiful sunny day and the temperature was 22 degrees. The grandchildren had a whale of a time
The hills or mountains across the Dornoch Firth and The Moray Firth are the hills of Sutherland.
