Old Gold Christmas Ball

The white clematis leaves behind these lovely seed heads all shiny and gold. The rain, which was a little less today, added to the glistening. It put me in mind of Christmas decorations.
I also thought they looked like the Beatles mop tops but I couldn't get four in any sort of good grouping so one it is.
