More raindrops

The place is sodden. Another 32mm after 18mm yesterday and whatever the two days before that.

I went off to Nelson to pick up Blipmates daughter from airport and then Blipmate from hospital. Rained the whole way there and back. Fortunately the flights were getting in ok although it was a mad house there. Traffic was all well behaved too. Blipmate will be a little slow for a few days but in good hands and there is nothing like being in your own home and bed.

I stepped outside the front door to get this. Raindrops on harakeke/flax flowers. An extra (when I free one up) of a poor bee trying to get some food.

The sevens tournament in rugby park behind us went ahead as did the hot rodders at Rec Centre. One thing it isn't cold and no rain and I hear that in lots of other places like Wellington it is worse.
