A Man and his Dog

We were walking on the forest path, heading home past the field, and we saw our neighbour headed the other way on the road. The landscape looked very empty and these figures just seemed to emphasis the emptiness.
These landscapes are very close to monochrome at this time of year, and this one seemed better, cleaner, in B&W.
The extra - Where we had such brilliant reflections yesterday,  today we only have a thin skin of new ice that formed last night and this morning.
