Bailey: Arch, my mum has been playing Leonard Cohen songs all day. Should I be worried?

Archie: So has mine, Bails. He died yesterday. They're sad.

JR and Archie went off for an early walk around the Meadows with Rufus and his mum, via the use the of Christine's printer. Again. Yes, a pair of slippers I ordered are too small.

JR then went off in the afternoon to post the offending package, and to browse the shops in Morningside. What stamina she has.

Slight improvement on the knee front! I can now lift my leg about six inches. I can actually sit quite comfortably with my knee bent for, oh, minutes at a time, and I can prop my leg up on the coffee table, supporting it with my other leg.

I might even watch the football (Scotland v England) tonight, though it's not my favourite my least favourite sport.
