Library of Birmingham

The Library, which was opened in September 2013 is the result of a design competition. It's described as  "Post Modern Hi-Tech" and features an aquifer ground source air-conditioning system. It is supposedly the largest public library in the UK, the largest public cultural space in Europe and the largest regional library in Europe.

It's a bit different from the library buildings that I look after back home.
