The back of my car has had over the last day, over 300kg of sand, 5 bags of ready-mix mortar, 125 bricks, a bottle drain gulley and a new 5ton manhole frame and cover. This afternoon I could be seen walking down my road with a 3m underground drainage pipe over my shoulder. All in the name of art.
Well diy to be honest.

So much cheaper going to the local builders merchants than one of the big diy chains. First they are usually cheaper, second, they know what they're talking about and third, they can be counted on to have the piece in stock whereas the big out of town diy store can be counted on to have the thing you want on order!
