In Search Of The Sinistral Shell

Open day at Mrs madwill's studio again - a bit quiet so I have plenty of time on my hands. Fortunately I just happened to have a shell in my coat pocket (picked up at the beach on our recent trip to Bridlington) and my camera with me so was able to create my blip.

I borrowed a bit of black felt from the stock - and took this picture.

You may wonder at the title - well most gastropod shells are 'dextral' or right-handed. I had to hunt high and low, but thanks to the magic of Lightroom I was able to find this 'sinistral' or left-handed one.
