Derelict Sunday - Bunker

I took this shot on the way into work at 'The Studio' this morning. Thorp Arch Estate has a rich supply of derelict buildings, huts and earthworks - which are great for blipping.

I have no idea what these little 'huts' are for. Behind this hut is a entrance cut through an enormous earthworking. Through the entrance can be seen part of another building which may have housed some of the factories used in the wartime role of munitions filling.

Speculation on my part - but maybe the earthworks were there to direct any accidental blast upwards and prevent damage to the rest of the site.
