Another busy day

Struggling to find a decent image for today, I just looked to my right as writing this and this was the view.
Work continues apace, between showers, on the shed. I also took the opportunity in the better weather to look for this American Coot. Whilst there the funeral procession of almost fifty cars for our Grimsay neighbour recently deceased passed me by and by.
Also there was a fanatic twitcher. Along with other far-flung islands in the British Isles, he has visited the Hebrides eight times this year - never for more than two days - and has covered 83,000 miles in his car - let alone the air miles - in search of bird species in the UK and has so far got to 397 in the year. The American Coot was the 397th. 12 clear of the previous record I am told. That said, he came across as surprisingly sane and normal!
