Getting ready

This tree down the street is getting ready for winter. There was still some warmth in the low sun and the walk back from the hairdresser was enjoyable.

Shopping then a visit to the elderly aunt, hoovering and a general tidy up meant it was into the afternoon before I began to get the garden ready for Monday.

That's when the electrician is due to come and connect a cable to the new greenhouse - my transparent man shed! . Leaves swept up. Trench dug even deeper and completed.

Tomorrow I need to open up the bags of soil before they go stale and hopefully plant up the daffodil bulbs. So lots to do.
