Brilliant

Since we began our Girl Child project and Saturday school classes, Mathematics has been a real cause of concern to me. Seeing school reports with results ranging from 0 to maybe 15% all over the place is so scary and who cares in Authority, seemingly no one. When it comes to girls I feel that they are bottom of the pile in every respect.

However these two ladies in Form One give me my greatest joy of the week in achieving 83% and 93% in their first maths test. Isn't that amazing and maybe with better teaching girls can do much better and the example of Ruth Jere and Grace Mkandewere will set a tone.

8 new copies and 3 biros each might cause a bit of a ripple among their 37 classmates as well.

These two bright sparks, have no sponsors as yet and remember that 180 Euros will provide them with all their needs for the year. Thanks to all our amazing donors who have come on board this project. It is and will change lives forever
